Oh my GOSH. I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted! I feel awful. To give you a little preview of my life right now we've had an offer on a house since the 9th of LAST month and we're still waiting on a response from the selling bank. Eric and I found out that Motes baby #2 will make it's appearance on or around the 19th of February 2010! I am sooooo tired from this that I have almost no energy left at the end of the day :(. I was in Nogalas one weekend in June and Tucson for 4th of July weekend and we're spending all next week in Phoenix for computer training for me.
I have SO many ideas and I don't know how I'm gonna fit them all in. I truly hope to get some new project ideas posted soon so keep you eyes open. Also, I have a great event planned for the end of the month, more details coming soon. All I can say is Ho Ho Ho.
Good Night for now but I'll be back!!!

I used the Enchanted paper pack from Close To My Heart for both the base of the coasters and to cover the letters. The little people with each letter are stamped in smokey plum and are from the Family Ties (children) C-size stamp set. I used my Bind-It-All to attach the coasters together and threw on some ribbon to hang it with.
At first I was afraid that it was to sparse but the more I look at it the more I think it's decorated perfectly. What do you think? Don't forget you can click on the pic to get a larger view and hopefully you will see it displayed in our NEW HOME soon!!!

I got my Bind It All!!

I'm so excited because I just got my Bind It All in today! I know it'll be helpful for all the mini-album and notebooks that I like to make but I'm so much into using it for projects other than books. I saw something similar for hanging on the wall and though it would make a great touch for Emma's room. I used 4 x 4" coasters as the base. I covered them with the blush textured cardstock from the Tickled Pink kit from Close To My Heart. Hollyhock ink was used to distress the edges and for stamping the images. I got the chipboard letters from walmart but had just enough left over b&t paper from the Tickled Pink kit to cover them all and make them look cute. I finally used my BIA to attach the whole thing together.
I have a few other displays I want to make, one for the wall with "family" or "Motes" and a "welcome" display for right inside the door. So many projects, so little time :)
My Scrapbook Organization

As many of you know I'm a very busy person. Working full time, doing side job computer work, and of course my wonderful family. Some ask me when do you have time to do your scrapbooking? I simply reply, it's my unwinding at the end of the day. Scrapbooking is my hobby and my creative release. It lets me remember all the good, and yes, bad times and helps me to unwind at the end of the day. Sometime though getting pages done can seem stressful if you don't know where to start.
To help me get over this hurdle I've created these little notebooks. I print out the pages that I need, cut some covers from plastic folders, bind it together and decorate. Then as I take pictures I can write down important information. Later when I go to put the pages together I tear out the page for the event I want to scrapbook and it can stay with the page though the final steps.
This system works well for me because I've found that I'm most productive when I create pages in an assembly line style. I work though each step for all pages then move on to the next step. I especially like this because I get to revisit the even with each step and not just once when createing the whole page.
Anyway, the books completed are on the left and under that is an example of one of the pages. I used rub-ons and stamps from Close To My Heart for the main decorations with a few ribbons from walmart to complete the decorations.
How about these cute cards?

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the cute circle cards from the new Wishes book from Jeanette Lynton. These two I made with the patterns from this book using papers from the Moon Doggie paper pack. All that's left is a sentiment and some bling and it's ready to give!

Tickled Pink - National Scrapbooking Month Kit

OK, so what do you all think? I made 2, 2-page layouts with the included instructions (I liked that it made me think about me instead of my family for once) and a card from a few of the scraps and I still have plenty of paper at home to play around some more with! The only things I used that weren't included with the kit were the green ribbon, my ink and my pen to write with. How awsome are these pages? I personally LOVE them!

This is a much older layout that I did when I was first getting used to the Cherish and Imagine layouts. I love this one so much though that I though I'd post it for you all to see. It's so old that I can't even remember what products I used but I'm positive that everything on here is a CTMH product.

Last summer Emma took swimming lessons. Am I a bad mom for just now getting this page done? We had a blast but Em didn't much care to be in any water that wouldn't allow her to put her feet on the ground. This is a CTMH layout using the Magic Moments paper pack. The large letters are from a chipboard set I got at walmart and the small letters are from an older level one kit that I'm not sure which it was. All the other accents/embelishments are wallieworld specials.

Emma's Hair Stuff
7:31 AM

Beth
I found this blank canvas at a scrapbook store in tucson. I needed something for Emma's hair bows and hair bands so I thought this would be perfect. I used daydream paper and mystickease, added a few ribbons on the back for her clips and through some hooks on the front to hold the rubberbands. Now I will know where all her bows/bands are when I go to do her hair.
