Baby's 1st Year Calendar

This is a super cute baby's 1st year calendar that I made for my sister to give as a baby sower gift. I used the Topstitch paper pack, an extra colonial white card stock package, ctmh stamps (of course) and my bind-it-all.
She's already told me she wants one as well but I want to know what she's having first so her's can be more closely matched to the gender of the baby.

BOY! Is it August already? Last thing I knew it was the beginning of summer. I guess I've been slacking this summer on my projects. But never fear! I've got some super cute baby "month" pages headed this way, just gotta finish printing out the pictures. Check back soon for some cute layout ideas for your little ones.

Zippidee August Workshop

August is here and with it a fun new card workshop! This month we'll be working with the super fun Zippidee paper pack. Our gathering will be held Saturday August 28th at my house. June Card Club

Attention all card makers!

A great new Card Club is on it's way! Every other month we will make 12 wonderful cards featuring one of the new paper packs from the current catalog. The 1st club meeting will be held June 5th at 2 pm. At this meeting we will arrange the order in which the hostesses will rotate guaranteeing that at least some time during the duration you will have a chance to earn free stuff just for showing up and paying for the next get together! The basic kit is $29.95 and all orders for the June club get together are due May 21st

Mother's Day Card

I'm thinking it's late enough now that I can safely post this card I made for my mom for Mother's Day tomorrow. I can't even begin to tell her how much she means to me and thank her for everything she has done and continues to do for me but I hope this card will help with this.

Em's birthday!

1st, off YEA, I finally had some time to sit down and work on my scrapbook pages again! I'm so excited. It's felt like forever. I do LOVE my new crafting desk though so I'm glad I waited. These pages are the first to come off my new desk and I'm so excited, they both came out SOOOO lovely.

2nd, YES, these do say 2nd birthday and YES, Emma turned 3 last month. What can I say, it's been a crazy year. The good news is that because of this I have a ton of Studio J layouts being put together. If you haven't had a chance to learn about Studio J just hollar at me and I'll walk you though. I've gotten a couple of layouts in and they look WONDERFUL. I wouldn't have expected any less from Close To My Heart though.

Any way, now to the information I know you all want to know about. These layouts were made with all Close To My Heart products. I used the Topstitch Level 1, pre-printed layouts, the Topstitch MyStickease, baby pink buttons, brads and swirll paperclips, flowers, edge anchors, pearls and Rhinestones. For the title I used the chocolate alphabet and the "2" solo stampsets. I also used the Hey There Cupcake and A Little Everything as accents to the pages. I just LOVE how they both turned out. Hopefully this desk will keep the creative juices flowing!

I finally did it!

I was finally able to purchase my first set of Studio J layouts! So cute you can see them to the right. These wonderfully simple layouts use all CTMH paper patterns, colors, MyStickease graphics and CTMH colored accessories.

Memory Boxes for the little ones.

Here are a couple of memory boxes I just finished up for Emma & Matthew. I wanted something to save all their cards in for later in life.
I found the boxes by bare naked, sorry CTMH but we need to put out a 12 x 12 box too for the bigger stuff like sheets of paper. Everything else however is Close To My Heart.
On Emma's box I used the oh so cute Topstitch paper pack along with Topstitch My Stickease, baby pink buttons, adhesive pearls, and various coordinating ribbons.
Matthew's box uses the supper cute Caboodle paper pack & Caboodle My Stickease with Twill ribbon to cover the handle.

Hi all my favorite friends and visitors. I know I haven't been getting a whole lot done this past month or so but I thought I'd introduce you to the reason for this paper crafting hiatis. Please welcome Matthew Reay Motes. Born Feb 5th, 2010. Very healthy 6 lbs 13 ozs and 17 1/2 inches long. Hopefully I'll have some great new scrapbook pages to show off soon.
